She grew up surrounded by the ocean and beaches , and exposed to such artists works as Fitz Hugh Lane , Walker Hancock , Aldro Hibbard , Paul Manship , Roger Curtis , Winslow Homer, Donald Mosher , Charles Movalli , Emile Gruppe, Michael Stoffa , Paul Strisik , Bette Lou Shlemm and other great Cape Ann artists.
